Padel & Tennis Scorebook ("Scorebook", "we", "us") is an app for keeping score of the padel and tennis matches you play with your friends. This policy explains what we collect when you use the app and the website at padel-tennis-scorebook.com, why, and the choices you have. We keep it to what the app needs to work: no ads, no tracking across other apps, and we never sell your data.

1. What we collect

DataWhy
Email address and a hashed passwordTo create your account and sign you in.
Your nameShown to the people in the groups you join, and on the matches you play.
Groups, player names and match results you or your group members enterThis is the app: group history, standings and your lifetime record.
Subscription records (platform, product, purchase and renewal dates, store transaction ids)To unlock Scorebook Pro and keep it in step with renewals, cancellations and refunds.
Technical data (device platform, app version, time zone, IP address in server logs)To run and secure the service and fix problems.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data or advertising identifiers. Card and payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see them.

2. Who can see your data

  • Members of your groups see your name, the groups you share and the results of the matches in them. Groups are private: only people with the group's invite link or code can join.
  • Nobody else in the app can see your groups, matches or email address.

3. Service providers

We share data only with the providers that run the service for us, under their own privacy and security terms:

  • Hosting (DigitalOcean): our servers and database.
  • Apple and Google: app distribution and in-app purchases. Their notifications tell us when a subscription renews, is cancelled or refunded.
  • Telegram: our team receives internal operational alerts (for example "new sign-up" or "subscription purchased") that include the account's name and email address, so we can support users and spot problems.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the service.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your email, password, name and subscription records are erased. Matches you played in groups with other people stay in those groups' history under the name you played as, without a link to any account, so your friends' records stay correct. A group nobody else joined is deleted with your account. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile > Delete account, or by following the steps on our account deletion page. Deleting your account does not cancel a Scorebook Pro subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we process it. You can change your name in the app at any time. For anything else, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We process your data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract) and, for security and support, on the basis of our legitimate interests.

7. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. Children

Scorebook is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top. For significant changes we will let you know in the app.
