Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Padel & Tennis Scorebook app and website ("Scorebook", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Scorebook.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Scorebook.
  • Give us a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile > Delete account.

2. Groups and match results

Scorebook lets you create private groups, invite friends with a link or code, and record match results. Anyone who joins a group can see its players and history, and any member can record matches. Whoever recorded a match, or the group's owner, can edit or delete it. Please record results honestly and only share invite links with people you want in the group.

You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of your groups, only so we can run the service.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Scorebook to:

  • harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or use offensive names for groups or players;
  • break the law or anyone else's rights;
  • interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or access it by automated means other than the app;
  • resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Free plan and Scorebook Pro

  • The free plan includes one group of your own. Joining groups created by others is always free.
  • Scorebook Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that unlocks unlimited groups of your own. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • If Pro ends, groups you already own stay available; you only need Pro to create additional ones.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep Scorebook running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

6. Disclaimer

Scorebook is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Scores and statistics are only as accurate as the results people enter.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Scorebook. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Scorebook Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. App store terms

If you downloaded Scorebook from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app or its content.

9. Termination

You may stop using Scorebook and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Scorebook after a change means you accept it.
